OK, so this isn’t so much about hunting, but just an example of the wide variety of things we’ll be writing about on this blog.

Thursday night, I had a chance to get out with Michael and catch Ronnie Montrose live, on stage with his newest band. The band played Fremont’s Saddle Rack on Thursday, then went on to play at the Boardwalk in Sacramento last night (Friday). They’ll be in Petaluma tonight, and if you enjoy driving, guitar rock, Ronnie Montrose and co. provide it in spades!

Also on stage on Thursday night was Seven Reasons, featuring ex Valhalla bassist, John Hampton. John spends a bit of time out at the Native Hunt ranches when he’s not rehearsing or helping Michael set up a studio.

Meanwhile, back to the hunt!

  1. I went and saw the show in Sacramento, and it was fantastic – still can’t get the music out of my mind!

  2. First time I was ever someone else’s guitar tech/Roadie and of “all” people it had to be my good friend Ronnie Montrose!
Ronnie and I have been friends for well over 20 years, he has produced most all of my material throughout those years and he still never ceases to amaze me with his artistic abilities.
